Australia Drawings. Robertson Park 2004 – 2020
The Park in Watson Bay in the harbour area of Sydney has been a catalyst for a series of drawing spanning many years.
When visiting Australia, I take pictures to use as source material for when I return to work in the studio in UK. With these drawings, using the parkland, people, birds, and large trees casting dappled shade, together with the backdrop of the city and the gentle waters of the harbour, I explore the resonance of the photos.
